How to wash your period underwear

Before initial use:

✓ Wash your period underwear before using them for the first time. This improves the pants’ absorption capacity.

After use:

✓ Rinse the underwear in cold water and wring it out.
✓ Then choose what suits you best: Either wash them straight away or store the damp pair in, for example, an Imse wet bag, for up to 2 days. If it’s longer than two days before they’re washed, you’ll need to hang dry them. 
✓ Wash day! Launder at 60 degrees along with your other clothing. Imse's period underwear is crafted to endure a 60-degree wash for optimal hygiene, as 58 degrees effectively eliminates any bacteria.
✓ Let the underwear air dry – they’ll last longer. Avoid tumble drying the underwear on high heat, as it can damage the leak-proof layer in the sewn-in protection.
